Help & Answers

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about shopping, fulfillment schedules, local farms, and food safety on FXBG.market.

Ordering & Multi-Vendor Shopping

How does ordering from multiple vendors in one cart work?

You can add items from any number of farms, bakeries, and makers into a single shopping basket. When you checkout, your order is automatically divided and sent to each producer. You only pay once, and each vendor fulfills their portion according to the selected pickup or delivery schedule.

When is the weekly order cutoff time?

Most fresh harvests, breads, and butcher cuts have an order cutoff of Thursday at 8:00 PM EST for Saturday morning fulfillment. This gives our farmers time to harvest and bakers time to sourdough-proof overnight.

Can I cancel or modify an order after placing it?

Orders can be modified or canceled up until the Thursday 8:00 PM cutoff window. Once harvesting or baking has begun on Friday morning, modifications may be limited.

Market Pickup & Delivery

Where and when is market pickup held in Fredericksburg?

Primary market pickup takes place every Saturday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Hurkamp Park in Downtown Fredericksburg (Prince Edward & George St). Several farms also offer direct on-farm pickup stands during weekly windows.

What if I am not home when my doorstep delivery arrives?

Our couriers place your order in a shaded spot at your front door and send an SMS delivery confirmation. For perishable dairy, meats, and seafood, items are packed with recyclable insulated cold packs that stay safe for up to 4 hours.

Which zip codes are covered for local delivery?

We currently deliver throughout the City of Fredericksburg (22401), Spotsylvania County (22407, 22408), and Stafford County (22554, 22556). Delivery rates are set transparently by zone.

Vendor Standards & Sourcing

How are producers vetted on FXBG.market?

Every producer must operate within the Fredericksburg regional agricultural basin (including Spotsylvania, Stafford, Caroline, Orange, and the Northern Neck). We review growing practices, kitchen permits, water quality certifications for seafood, and humane pasture standards.

Are all products certified organic?

Many of our farms use Certified Organic or Certified Naturally Grown practices without synthetic chemicals. We require every vendor to explicitly state their exact practices (e.g. Non-GMO feed, pasture-raised, spray-free) on their storefront.

How can I become a vendor on FXBG.market?

We are always looking for passionate local producers. Visit our Become a Vendor page to review requirements, platform pricing ($29.99/mo with zero listing markups), and submit your quick application.

Payments, Refunds & Food Safety

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Square Pay via secure encrypted processing.

What happens if a farmer has a crop failure or an item is out of stock?

Because farming is subject to natural conditions, occasionally a harvest is delayed or shorted. If a vendor cannot fulfill an item, you will be notified immediately and issued a 100% refund for that product to your original payment method.
